Sloan
SloanMusic.com

We've been Sloan fans from all the way back to grade school. Several of our staff even witnessed the legendary Sloan concert at the UPEI Barn (sadly torn down) back in 1997. So, it was an exciting opportunity when we were asked to redesign their official website this year.

The Sloan site is primarily designed for the fans. In terms of usability for the fans, we ensured that the site is quick loading and has intuitive navigation. Fans are also encouraged to give the band their feedback. The site allows fans to submit their own reviews of any past show and send in their photos to be added to the Sloan photo gallery.

The new Sloan site is based on a database-driven content management system that allows the band and their manager to keep the site current by updating their upcoming tour dates, band news, and information about the band.

The site actually uses modules from two of our internal projects. Parts of the weblog platform power the news section and the new photo gallery system is implemented for the Sloan photo gallery section.
