Fall Update
September 21, 2002

The silveroranges have been busy this summer and are looking forward to a busy fall. Much of our summer was dedicated to the further development of The silverorange Intranet platform.

An all-new silverorange intranet (version 3.0) is expected to be released in early October. National Research Council Canada’s Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP) will be the first organization to deploy this latest version of the silverorange intranet platform. The IRAP Intranet takes advantage of the flexibility of our platform to achieve complete compliance with the Government of Canada’s Common Look and Feel Guidelines (read the guidelines).

In anticipation of the release of our latest version of the silverorange intranet, we’re pleased to welcome Alan McLeod to our team. Alan had served as our lawyer with the firm Patterson Palmer. He is graduating this year with an LLM with distinction in IT law, which he has worked on during the last three years of his practice. While we continue to work with Patterson Palmer, Alan is joining our team to help spread the word about our intranet.

Look forward to more details about the silverorange intranet upgrade in the weeks to come.
